Is it a problem just with this text? What language is your site running in. It’s a good possibility that the language file for the plugin is either not made yet or not updated.

Am assuming you’ve followed all the instructions at https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress_in_Your_Language to get the rest of your site working in your language?

Hi. The rest of the site is working on PT_BR (portugese brasilian) language. I copy the better-search-pt_BR.mo and better-search-pt_BR.po files on wp-content/languages folder but no text is being translated. I’m really new with WordPress. Maybe I’m missing something really obvious.

Do I have to set something on better-search.php file?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You don’t need to move the language files anywhere. The issue is that the better-search-pt_BR.po file is not fully updated for all the strings.

You can view this in your text editor or preferably PoEdit ( https://www.poedit.net/ )

Are you in a position to complete the translation of the all the strings? If so, then you’ll have the entire plugin translated in the pt_BR

I think I can translate what’s missing. So, it has to be fully translated on the po file to work?

Thanks for the plugin and for your colaboration.

Yes, that should work. If you finish translating the file, could you please send this across to me at ajaydsouza dot com
