Change layout of posts

I want to make the pictures on the posts smaller.

I like the slider size, but i want the picture to be smaller, and instead of the picture being over the text, i would prefer it to be next to the text. More like these posts https://www.dancingastronaut.com/

The most important thing is simply to mimnimize the image. It does not work to minimize the image itself in the post.
