• Hi,

I just setup a lightbox on a custom post type archive page. Every post has ACF with some extra information, like location and a gallery-field.

Instead of the image title I want to display the name of the post, the location and the category below the images in the lightbox. Is there a way to overwrite the title that is shown on default (image title) and display the same title for every image inside a gallery?

Hi, custom lightbox themes allow you to customize the details displayed in the lightbox. Please see SLB’s Themes documentation for more details on creating a custom lightbox theme. In particular, this tutorial on customizing theme layouts includes a full list of available template tags to use in a lightbox theme.

Displaying a post’s properties in the lightbox has not been previously requested, as most people want to display each image’s unique title/caption, rather than showing the same information on every image (e.g. the parent post’s title).

If you would like to see this functionality, you can submit a feature request for SLB.

An extension to add ACF support is planned. Development is prioritized by demand, so you are invited to vote on this ticket, as well as add any details you have on how you would use ACF data with SLB.

    Thanks.
