Change link target

    How can’i change link of the download to redirect on author page for just one article ??

    Hi,

    I would like to be able to define a target to the link when a click on the download button, so that when a user clicks on download a tab opens (target _blank) in case the download happens on the site of the author of the file.

    example:
    Click -> open a new tab, https://www.website_author.com/plugin

    Also a counter present on the button would really be a plus.

    Hi mate, I think what you want is to use a WooCommerce External/Affiliate product, not a Simple downloadable product. With those product types the button doesn’t download or buy, it takes you to an external link.

    Hi,

    same problem, external link open in the same page; not in a new window ?? and no counter present on the back and the front office.

    Maybe a solution for this ?
