change list class

Would love an option to replace the wp-paginate class with a custom class. I have been hacking the plugin code or using js to replace the class manually for years now. I usually replace the class with bootstraps pagination class and restyle from there. It would be great if there was a plugin option to do that instead of the hacks I implement.
