Change location of gallery within page

This nice little plugin is pretty close to what I’m looking for. However, when I use <?php echo do_shortcode( '[wpsgallery]' ); ?> to display the gallery in a specific location (in an aside sidebar), it merely duplicates it.

Is there a good way to go about moving the default location of the gallery on a given page?
