Change log information

    I’d like to change the information contained in the log file, specifically the text at the beginning of the log. Is there a way to do this without editing the importer.php file?

    No currently there is not such option, but we can prepare some hook to modify it.

    Which part would you like to change?

    The table section is ok, but I’d like to reword the header and footer.

    I have just included new filters to do it:

    • acui_log_main_title
    • acui_log_header
    • acui_log_header_first_row_explanation
    • acui_log_inserting_updating_data_title

    Update to next version to have all it available to be able to do all you have told us.

    Thanks! I’ll test it out today.

    Since we do a nightly import, I noticed a couple of things that would greatly improve the log information:

    * Can you add an indicator if a record was added, edited or deleted?
    * You have some script alerts in the log which of course don’t display with the html code. Can you format these as errors instead (i.e., red background)?

    Ok all those ideas are great, but yes, we cannot use much of our time in this project for free.

    If you want to contribute, it will be great.
