What domain mapping plugin are you using?

To clearly detail how my setup is:

eangulus.com is the network domain and default 1st blog. Setup using subdirectories.
I have a subsite called toongiquilts with a mapped domain of toongiquilts.com

But when on the toongiquilts.com/wp-login page the header logo points to eangulus.com

I want it to point to toongiquilts.com or whatever the subsites domain is.

Go to the SUB site that you mapped and fiddle with the domain mapping menu there.

Not sure what your talking about.

The domain mapping is working perfectly fine.

If I co to the Sites settings in the Network Admin there is no Domain Mapping section other than the one under Settings for the whole network.

If you mean to go to the subsite admin, there is no domain mapping menu item there either as I have turned off access to it from the subsite directly.

Also what does the domain mapping part got to do with my problem? The subsites header links back to eangulus.com if it were pointing to eangulus.com/toongiquilts then I would assume a mapping issue.

To me there seems to be an issue of were and what its picking up as its domain.

Thats what I have.

And again its working fine.

Just to be clear on my problem.

WPMU install under eangulus.com as Sub Directory Setup.
Domain Mapping installed
Added a site eangulus.com/toongiquilts
Mapped domain to said site toongiquilts.com
Works fine.
If I visit toongiquilts.com/wp-login.php it shows fine and url stays the same (doesn’t redirect back to the eangulus.com domain).
The image at the top of the login form links to https://eangulus.com
I want it to link to the primary domain of that site (in this case toongiquilts.com)

BTW. the above domains are all live if you want to visit them.

Turn it on. It has more options you cannot get to from Network Admin. You *need* to access the domain mapping menu under Tools on the SUB sites.

Nothing new in there that I can’t do from Network Admin.

I have Set Primary Domain (toongiquilts.com is set as primary)
And I have add new domain.

That’s it.

WHat am i suppose to be seeing?

Remote login for starters.

Don’t mean to sound rude here, but if anyone is going to offer help can it be actual help on the actual problem. Not just some series of random guess based on nothing.

I will dum it down for everyone and I might be able to get an answer here.

Everything from MU to Domain Mapping and Logins work perfectly fine. Nothing is wrong with any of that stuff.

When on a subsite’s Login Page, there is a Logo above the login form. It links when clicked back to the parent (Blog 1) domain name. I want it to link to the domain name of the blog your logging into.

That’s all. Very small problem and a very basic one at that. THe problem is I don’t know why or even if its suppose to be that way and I am trying to find out how to change it.

What plugin did you use to change the login logo?

Currently using Custom Admin Branding 3.0.3

It lets me change Logo’s and colours but no where to change the link.

Well then that’s your problem.

Is the plugin network enabled? I would try enabling it PER site if possible. If that doesn’t help, then you need to contact that dev and ask how to make it multi-siteable. I wonder if that’s even possible though, since the form’s the same for all sites… Huh. An interesting concept.

First off no its not Site enabled its per site.

Why would it be a problem there? It doesn’t provide a feature that’s it.

But if I go to a subsites login page and login, then I expect to go to that subsite. If I click Home on the subsites pages I expect to go to the subsites home.

To me this is an issue with either wordpress not linking to the subsite home and linking to the network home instead, or its a problem iwth domain mapping. If the Custom Admin Branding offered a way to change the link and it was doing this then yes I would say there is a problem with it.

Barring any other reasonable solution, is there a custom branding plugin that allows me to change the link on a per subsite basis?
