Change main nav when hover

  • Hallo
    I am having trouble changing my main navigation.
    My theme is MH Squared and I have made a child theme.
    I have also made a style.css in the child theme and copied the Header.php

    I have now a nav menu which background is #00d6ff and the text is white. I have managed to get the text to change color to #0066bf when hover, but when I hover over the text the subpage under a point also change, so you can not see which page you are choosing.

    I also have that problem when hovering the background changes to grey – I just want it to stay the same color so it only is the text that change.

    My third problem is that the text is too much to the left, I want the text to stay in the center of the bar.

    I hope someone can help me, I have tried all the different things written about changing background color when hovering, but nothing has worked so far.

    I have now manage to get the same background color on both the main navigation and the sub-navigation, but the font color only change on the main nav. That means that when I hover over a title in the main nav the title change and if the title have sub titles they change with it, so you can not se which title you are hovering. Do anybody know what to do? I have looked in many forums to see if I could find an answer, but nothing seams to work!!!!!!! Pls HELP me someone…….
