• Hi everyone,

first of all thank you for this theme. I like it a lot and want to use it for a refresh of a church website.

I would like to show the primary menu with headlines per row and all sub items shown without having to expand the menu. Now the first part (the headlines) I already accomplished with individual links without an URL and some styling, as you can see here.

The second part (showing all menu entries) I don’t know how to do. This is the old/current website that gives an idea of how it should look.

Is there a way to change this in a child theme without messing up the whole layout?

Thanks a lot in advance for looking into this.

    Cheers,
    Jonas

  • Hi @jonasschoen, I hope you are doing great,

Removing the dropdown collapse feature would require changing the behavior of the script that is used for dropdown.

You may override this functionality using a child theme and you should not break anything while you use a child theme.

However, do note that doing so requires development skills and may take some time.

I hope this clarifies, have a nice day,
    Andrija

    Hi @gdandrija,

thank you for the reply. My development skills are very limited, but when I have some time I’ll try it.

Have a nice day as well,
    Jonas
