change menu colour in Bouquet theme?

  • Please help I currently use the Bouquet theme and there are only three options to choose where the menu area is either, blue, pink or orange how or where can I change the menu colour to make it black?

    Not familiar with Bouquet. Most likely changed in the theme’s style.css or an imported file specified in style.css. You’ll likely need a html inspector tool to figure out which directive to edit, WP css files are very hard to figure out without one. It’s also possible to hard code the colours, but poor practice. In such a case you’d have to find the code that generates the colour options.

    To avoid having your changes overwritten when the theme is updated, consider creating a simple child theme.

    In the main theme .zip folder, it can be found in the colours folder, then go to the theme colour scheme you chose to use. Edit the css file there and replace the one currently in your c-panel with the edited one.

    So I found the right CSS file and where to change colors, but when I copied it into “Edit CSS” it erased my header image. How can I fix that?
