    Simple enough question, I hope.

Having set up a menu item pointing to a certain page (i.e not a custom link) I’d subsequently like to change the page that the item points to / links to. But it doesn’t look like this is possible* – is it?

    * i.e it’s only possible to delete the old item/link and substitute a replacement one – for a big ‘finished’ menu system this is PITA that I’d like to avoid.

I think I know what you are referring to. If I understand correctly, then this plugin will do the trick:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/

Say the page on your menu goes to mydomain.com/samplepost but you want it to actually go to mydomain.com/newsamplepost then this plugin will allow you to create a permanent quick redirect so that anyone clicking on the menu item or going to mydomain.com/samplepost will automatically see mydomain.com/newsamplepost

    Hope this helps!

    Mike
