Change multisites content

  • Hi,

    I would like to ask for help, because I can’t find solution for my problem.
    My situation is this:

    I have multisite, where is main page A.

    Then, I created subdomain page B where I made new web. Now, I would like to move everything on page B to the page A.

    I don’t care about content on page A. All I care about is page B, which I need to set on homepage – page A .

    The adress of the new site is Page B

    I was thinking about my options. Is it possible to migrate site B to the place of site A, without losing anything on B? I mean themes, pluggins etc?

    Or would it be easier to somehow change adresses? Basically switch adress B to adress A? If so, can somebody please help me with it?

    If there are more options, I would love to hear them.

    BTW, I need free option – I heard that all-in-one migration offers multisite pluggin, but I can’t afford it now.

  • Hi,
    Without the ‘paid’ version of a plugin that supports MU, as you say, its a manual job. You’ll need to install the same theme on A and copy the plugins over; the db data is another thing. Your better off using the WP built-in Export option which will export a single site out of a multisite. Its not as fancy as a plugin but at least youll get the db data which is the where the crucial content is in a CMS
