Change name of ‘Blogroll’ in Lightword

  • Hello, I have changed the category of all entries in the Blogroll into ‘External Links’. Still, my Lightword-themed blog shows ‘Blogroll’ in the right-hand sidebar.

    If I choose another theme, e.g. ChocoTheme, it shows ‘External Links’ as I would expect.

    Is this a bug in Lightword or am I missing something?

    Create a new category as “External Links” and put all the links under this category.

    Well, I did just that. If I use theme ChocoTheme, it works: all links are shown under “External Links”.

    If I switch to theme Lightword, it does not work: all links are shown under “Blogroll”.

    I have installed theme Lightword and check the link widget. It is working in my local machine. I have followed this:

    • Create category as External Link
    • Add a one link in this category
    • Activate the link widget and select the External Links

    That’s the trick! I did not explictly mamage the widgets, so it used a default list. If I explicitly activate the widgets I need, it works as expected.
