Change Name of “Choose a Category”

    We are listing our events and want to change the name of the “Choose a category…” drop down field.

    Do you know which file this is located in?

    I can’t seem to find it and we have a theme that for some reason is cutting off the last 4 characters of the default value but not the selection list.

    Overide template file called event-filters.php to your theme side by following this doc.

    Once you have overridden please find the event_manager_dropdown_selection and change any category to your custom string.
