    Greetings,

On the Gazette theme, is it possible to change the number of featured images on the front page from 6 to 8? (I’d like to have 4 columns x 2 rows.)

I’m working on a university account and am somewhat limited in my access to changing PhP/etc. on the site, but can access custom CSS settings (if that helps).

  • Hi @msteudeman,

By default, Gazette supports up to 6 featured images on the front page. If you wanted to add more and change the grid layout, I recommend creating a child theme for these changes. The code responsible for setting the number of featured posts can be found in Inc > jetpack.php (line 23).

This would require code access so you’ll need to contact the developer of the site and ask them to make the changes for you — or give you the permissions needed to do so.

    Gemma,
Thank you much! That was the information I needed. I appreciate it!
