How can I change the number of columns used on the home page for posts on Kadence (free)?

I have a content section and a (right) sidebar currently. The content section is two narrow for 3 columns of posts, so I want to change that to two columns.

    Thoughts?

Note that I have posted 3 home page questions but I did search for answers in the forum and played with the theme for about an hour before taking your time. I don’t mind when people can not locate a known solution or work around but it annoys me to no end when people don’t even try to check for solutions before asking so I want you to know that I did.

Thanks in advance; your efforts are appreciated.

  • Hi,
In your admin go to appearance > customize > blog posts > archive layout and there scroll down to the columns option for the post. You can set it there to 2.

Clarification, when you make your home page the “latest posts” page in settings > reading that makes it an archive so the post archive settings apply there.

    I hope that helps,

    Ben

That would explain why I could not change the setting… it is in ARCHIVE, not POSTS. Thanks Ben.
