Change number of posts displayed on main page

    Is there a way to change the number of posts displayed on the main page without knowing HTML?

    I am not seeing anything under Settings or Themes > Customize.

    I do not know HMTL and can not do any coding. However if you tell me a specific character string to find and change in the editor I can do that.
