Is there any reason why the link address that we write in the mailpoet editor (text, button, image, …) is changed in the newsletter received by the subscriber ? Example, the following link
    https:// domain_name/post_name/
    is changed to
    https://domain_name/?mailpoet_router&endpoint=track&action=click&data=…

I guess that there is a redirection and the target is fine when subscriber clicks on the linK. However, the process is much slower than with the original link, especially when a cache is used for the site. A solution to suppress this unwanted additional latency could be to implement a redirection (via a plugin at the site level) for each changed link in the newsletter to the original link, but is not very convenient …

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The link conversion you are seeing is a result of the MailPoet link tracking. This is how we are able to track open and click rates.

If you prefer not to use this feature you can disable it in MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Open and click tracking.

    I hope this helps!
