    Hi,

I have been getting a lot of error on Google Search Console on the pages of my website in which I have displayed a view with Testimonials. Basically, I get a message “Either ‘offers’, ‘review’ or ‘aggregateRating’ should be specified”. I have been getting this message since Google November update, which included new error detection on product schema.

I know that the plugin generates schema markup. I use version 2.26.9 with the Review Markup extension. I have two questions :
    – Are these error linked to Google update, and so should I wait for a fix on the extension ? (Maybe the fix is available in the new version ?)
    – If the errors are not linked to the extension by itself but to the page the markup is being inserted on (which I suspect, because the problem doesn’t affect some pages), does deactivating the review markup option on the Testimonials views will update the existing views and remove the markup code ?

I hope I am clear enough, sorry I am not a native speaker and certainly not an expert. I’d be happy to clarify if needed.

    Thanks !

@alainchevalier – thanks for reaching out.

It actually all boils down to the type of shortcode you use and the schema items you associate with it. Don’t worry, it’s actually easier than you think to fix ??

Since you’re using a paid extension, I’m going to have to ask you to reach out for support via our private support channels. More specifically, our contact page, here: https://strongtestimonials.com/contact-us/
