redirect homepage to another wp install on same domain

    So I have a wordpress install on mysite.com I have a second install on mysite.com/welcome Now I want all visitors to mysite.com get the mysite.com/welcome page (which is sort of a welcome page with a slider) and after that they should be able to access mysite.com site by a link.

    Anyone who could help out and know a smart solution for this?
