Is there a way to change the Order Number that is being used in Sendcloud dashboard ? I would like the plugin to take the number from Woocommerce and to add a prefix brefore.

    For example :

    Wocommerce Order Number : 12345
Desiered Order Number in Sendcloud : ABC-12345

    Hi @ludo427,

Thank you for reaching out. To answer your query: once an order is imported from WooCommerce to the Sendcloud panel, its order number can be freely edited within the Sendcloud panel’s order editing interface.

As for the plugin itself, it would not be able to add a prefix before the order number and prior to the order being imported to Sendcloud. The prefix (or any other modification to the order number) would still need to be added within the Sendcloud panel’s order editing interface, after the order has been imported to Sendcloud panel.

If you have further queries, you are also welcome to submit a support ticket directly from the Sendcloud panel or to contact us via chat or phone.

Here you can find information on how to create a support ticket from the Sendcloud panel:

Hello, thank you for your answer

We would like to automatically add a prefix to the order number as we get a high amount of order every day. Isn’t there a way we could automate that, even by modifying the plugin to add a prefix before import the order ?
If not, could this potentially be a new feature for future updates of the plugin ?

    Best regards

    Hi @ludo427,

By design, prior to the order being imported to Sendcloud, our plugin does not modify the order data on WooCommerce.

The intended function of the Sendcloud plugin is merely to import orders from WooCommerce (and updating the order status on WooCommerce, once those has been shipped).

Even if our plugin was able to add a prefix before the order number, this would likely break the order status updates because the imported order number in Sendcloud (with prefix) would not match the initial order number in WooCommerce anymore (without prefix).

Keeping in mind that this type of order modifications should be made prior to the order import and not by the Sendcloud plugin, I would kindly advise you to reach out to WooCommerce directly about this particular feature request.

I hope this answers your query!

    Best regards,
