Change order of previous next navigation

Hello!

I’m hoping you can help me. I’ve got a CPT that I’ve created, I sort it by post title and display in an archive. This all works great, my problem is the next and previous links are now wrong as I THINK there still showing pages based on date. I’m having trouble finding useful documentation the wp_link_pages function. www.ads-software.com hints that sort order can be changed but doesn’t have any examples and what I’ve tried hasn’t helped.
