Change order of smilies for WP Grins?

I’ve got WP Grins installed and working with my custom smilies (WordPress 2.0). What I was wondering is, is there a way to make the smilies load in the order I have them set up in vars.php? I’m wondering because the first section is regular smilies, while the next is little icons. I’d like it to be easy to separate them visually when posting.
