    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

The adaptation you’re asking for (that of changing the original string’s language) currently isn’t directly available within TranslatePress.
TranslatePress identifies the language of your website according to your settings in WordPress and then carries out translations based on this default.
To have content in a different language recognized correctly, it needs to be entered in that language in the original page/post or in the backend if it is related to a plugin.

What you can try is to follow these responses I found:https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/135747/best-pratice-to-make-taxonomy-terms-translatable-without-changing-slugs

    Let me know!

    Kind Regards,

Yes, it is a solution to make English the base language in TranslatePress to ensure proper translations of custom fields, but we have a problem. It is possible that TranslatePress can solve it and I am not aware of that. On the site, English should not be the base language, meaning that when someone opens the site, it should be in a language other than English chosen. How could we achieve this?
PS: It would be good to bring a solution to the given problem in future versions of the module. At least in the paid version.

    Hello there,

Unfortunately, we removed the direct redirection when a customer enters on your website due to some indexing issues.

Sorry, but we are not allowed to speak about the paid versions here. In case you would like to have that conversation please open a support ticket using our site https://translatepress.com/

    Kind Regards,
