• It would be cool if it was possible to change the ownership of a posting/article, e.g. via a drop down menu.
Thanks and keep up the great work!

  • Interesting request. For now you can do it through phpMyAdmin ??
    Certainly is possible though.

admin should be able to do that in addition to the power to edit the profiles of other authors…

I’d like to second that request. I’m about to try and do this through phpmyadmin, but I was looking all over WP to find out how to do this.

Right now, just phpMyAdmin to do it.
I can see legitimate purpose in correcting problems with a import (say from blogger).

unoamigo – yes, yes, we all get the point that it can be done in phpMyAdmin, but the point is: Not everyone a)knows what it is b) where to get it c) how to install it or d) how to even use it. The point was that it would be nice functionality to have from the standard WP admin interface. It really shouldn’t be a big deal. After all, there isn’t anything that is being done in the admin interface that couldn’t be done via phpMyAdmin, but who would want to?

Since i’ve just started blogging, what I did was edit my admin entries one by one; I copied the entry, memorized the title and excerpt, logged out admin, logged in my username, wrote a blog and pasted into the entry area the text I had copied…
But I wish WordPress developers heed the wish of posters here: An admin feature to change ownership of certain blogs. I have not even found this on (the latest) version 1.2.
