• I have occured a problem when i use P2 theme that
when I edit a article which dosen’t have “post”,”status”,”link” etc. catagory( because old article) in front page , it will be treated as “status”. As a result, the article’s title will be removed and replaced with first few line of contents as “status” title.

Is there any solution to change the default mode of editing to “post” when it is old article? So that I can preserve the old title.

    thanks a lot!

  • Yep, that happens when you edit from the site. To avoid that (and to correct it) you must re-edit the post in the Admin area and add the title back in.

I’m just a P2 user that has experienced that same issue. It’s clearly a program (theme) issue.

I think the best way to solve it is converting all category to tag (by using tool of “convert category to tag”) and adding “post” category to every article without category through batching.

I think it is the P2 philosophy using tag, to gain four function(status, post, quotes ,links) by four category, and classify articles by tag.
