Change Page id to page URL

You can customize Permalink Structure from wordpress admin area.

Yeah I got a little lost to be fair. I’m assuming this mod_rewrite is a plugin?

No, mod_rewrite is a function of the Apache server. Your host admin probably already has it set up. You just need to go to Admin->Settings->Permalinks and choose one of the options.

Well I tried the custom setting and put a / in the box. I checked the page to see if permalink was updated which it was but when I tested it the page couldn’t be found,

Change your permalink structure to %postname%. It will create a permalink like https://www.anchorwave.com/contact-us if you name your page Contact Us

tried doing that but didn’t work ??

All sorted, had to create a htaccess file in the end, thank you everyone for all your help.
