Change paypal item name with event title

    Dear all,

    I find not ideal the fact that when someone buys a seat, the line that appear on Paypal only contains its name. We organize a lot of event and then to check the accounts its a mess.

    Would it be possible to have the name of the event or a custom field in the RSVP section so one can see on Paypal which payment corresponds to a given event ? I think Paypal calls it the “item name”.

    When using paypal, hidden fields are propagated so the correct booking gets marked as paid. Paypal is just there for the client to pay, the rest is in the EME system.

    I don’t quite understand your answer. Probably because I’m not a plugin dev.

    Does it imply that is it not feasible ? Or that I should modify some parameter in EME ?

    Well, item_name is already used to put in the event name when presenting the paypal form.
    For the check on payments, EME automatically sets payed=true when receiving a paypal payment (if your site is publically available of course, EME sets the paypal IPN url to the site url).
