Change Please Moderate email address

  • I have an admin account on a site I built years ago. I am getting “please moderate” emails for each new post. The email admin address is under Dashboard->settings->general but my email address is not listed there. There is another email address listed there but WordPress is sending the notifications to my email address. How do I change the email address that the notifications are being sent to?

    Have you tried checking the email address on your profile? You can click on your profile from the upper right-hand. It could be that you are listed as one of the website moderators. So you can go to your Profile and change your email address from there.

    If you don’t want to receive notifications, you may also check the settings in Settings > Discussion and untick “A comment is held for moderation” under “Email me whenever”
