Change Previous/Next section category

I have two categories in my news plugin – Latest News and Latest Offers. I have two separate pages one showing a ‘Latest News’ category and the other showing “Latest Offers’. At the bottom of the page the Previous/Next are showing either a news or offer post. I would like to change this so that the Latest News shows a previous or next news item and the the Latest Offers page shows a previous or next Latest Offer.
Can this be done?
