Change product ID

    Hello, I have just started using WooCommerce and it seems to be just what I want. However, I need to export/import product prices. For that purpose I need the product ID of my products to match a SAP ID from my products database. Any chance I can edit the ID of a WooCommerce product?

    It may be worth metioning that I’m only dealing with Simple products in WooCommerce.

    IDs auto-increment and use the same system as posts so this cannot be changed. You could use SKUS or a custom field.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I will be looking for another solution then. I’ll probably just end up populating our products database with the WooCommerce product IDs.

    Hi,

    You can edit IDs at database level. Just simply updating products table with new IDs you want.
