Change product ID to SKU product

  • Hello, I have used Facebook pixel with Woocommerce before installing this plugin, in the GENERATE PRODUCT FEED configuration I will activate Use SKU … initially to generate product feeds using the default product ID, if it is changed with product SKU will affect where?

    Hi,

    what you configure will affect how each product is identified inside the product feed. This should match the ID used inside each DPA events.

    Let’s do an example, with a product with ID 9 and SKU PRDT-9, a ViewContent is fired: when visiting the product page, if the ViewContent is fired with content_ids with PRDT-9, Facebook will try to find a product in your catalog (that one associated with the Pixel ID you are using in the website) with the ID PRDT-9.

    So, you should configure the product feed with the same ID you use in the DPA events.

    I hope this gives you a better vision of how it works.
