This sounds like an encoding issue, the best bet for you would be to keep the product names in English and change them using Loco Translate or Say What? plugin for individual string changes.

Alternatively, you could change the DB_CHARSET but make sure to backup your wp-config.php file before doing any changes. Actually, always have a full backup of your site and database at regular intervals.
