Change Product Pricing in Order

    Hi, I notice I will be able to change the order item’s (Line item) pricing in admin order page. I wonder what is the use cases of this and how it will impact the other part of the system, e.g. analytics and etc? For instance, in the product setting page the price is set to 100 and in the edit order page(as admin) I will be able to change the total price of product in line item of order.

    Hi @hwsiew,

    Yes, you can change the item price on the Edit Order page before the payment. The new order totals will be reflected in the statistics. There are a few reasons why you would want to do this and we have had requests from users for this specific feature to be default in WooCommerce core.

    Having this feature does not mean that you have to change the price if the customer has not agreed to it. It’s simply an extra feature that can be useful in some situations.
