Change recurring event location?

    I cannot change the location for a recurring event. I have an organizer who submitted three different recurring events, all with the same location but entered differently.

    I tried to delete the other two and enter them under one…however in recurring events there is no link to remove the location as there is for single events and when I try to enter the new location, nothing is found and nothing gets saved.

    Is there any way to do this without detatching all the events and entering the location separately?

  • Try going to Events>Location find the location you want to delete. Click on edit and then”Move to trash” from the right side of the edit page.

    You can then go to the recurring event edit and create a new location for the series of events.

    Hi,
    Thanks. I had tried that. However, when I do so and then try to add an existing location to a recurring event it does not find that existing location on search as it does with single events. I guess I could enter a duplicate and then change any single events with that location —- but I hate doing so.
