Change Request | Error Message When Checkboxes Left Blank

Until the developers of Mailpoet have a chance to look into this and provide a solution or feedback, we implemented the temporary solution noted here.

Currently, when the checkbox is left blank, the error message states: “Please select at least one option.” It should state: “This field is required.“

I’ve reported this to the developers. Thank you for sharing the workaround for use in the meantime!

As an option, please update your plugin’s settings section to allow users to enter their own custom error message or phrase. Plugins such as wpDiscuz offer this much appreciated settings option.

For this point, it would be more of a new feature to add options for that (rather than a “bug”/issue like the first point above).

Any updates? Many plugin updates have been released since submitting this request, yet it remains unresolved. The solution is easy to implement (first part). It should take 5 minutes or less to implement.
