• Hello (and happy new year !),

I am currently testing your plugin.

I would like to make sure that a “cashier” can access the wordpress back office.
When a cashier tries to access the Back-Office by clicking on “Customers” in the sidebar, he is redirected to the home page of the site.
On the other hand, a store manager does manage to access the Customers page.

In order to confirm my test, I gave the cashier the same rights as a store manager.
    Result:
The store manager landed on the back office
The cashier is always redirected to the home page of my site.

How can I change this behavior and allow my cashier access to the back office?

Thank you in advance for your reply and for your work !

    Happy New Year as well!

Unfortunately, using our plugin permissions we don’t grant or manage the WordPress admin access for specific roles. As this would require a lot more role type management functionality. However, the good news there are a lot of other role membership plugins you can use to grant access of the WordPress Admin to the Cashier role.

A few you might want to review is https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/ and https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/admin-menu-editor/, using these plugins you can manage the WordPress Admin access by role. And a ton of access management for the admin area. We are not affiliated to either developer or the plugin, so we’d still recommend you evaluate the plugins fully and any other options available.

Hopefully this can help you setup the WordPress admin for the Cashier to access.
