Change search column width

Hello, first I want to say thank you for this wonderful plugin. It works really well in my website.

But I wonder if I can change the search column width and remove the search button.
I checked the documentation and it said that the width is set to auto, but in my website, the width is small and make the search result is not appear in whole.

Can you help me with this? Regards.
