Change search form

in the woocommerce plugin folder, you can search for where those words appear.

I see them in class-wc-post-types.php and class-wc-widget-product-search.php

Search the document for ‘Search Products’ and change on both files to your new words.

Save and see if it works.

I tried it but with no luck. I don′t get why they would make something so difficult to change…

I’ve never used different languages, so forgive my ignorance here, but did you do this already?

No, I didn′t do that because since I installed wp in portuguese, woocommerce stuff also got translated automatically. That is the only thing that is still in English and that′s why it looks so bad and needs to be changed.

But let′s say we want to change the text form ‘Search Products’ to ‘Search your products here’. How would we go about it?

Here is someone with the same issue in German.

They use the functions.php file to change the text. This is better than I wanted to try anyway ??

Tried that just now and also the plugin from that video.. Still no luck. Sad part is that I′ll probably have to take it out from there, but it′s so important to have a search on first page…
