Change shipping threshold

    Hello!

    We have two shipping methods:
    – Free shipping (when you shop for more than 499 sek)
    – Standard shipping 99 SEK

    We want to change the free shipping threshold from 499 sek to 649 sek. Before I do that, I have some questions:

    1) We use Svea checkout for Woocommerce as payment solution. Do I need to configure anything with this plugin after changing the shipping threshold?

    2) Will this have any consequences that maybe I should be aware of and might not think of? All that I can think of is that I will need to update text on our website where it says “Free shipping over 499 sek”.

    I am not familiar with this payment gateway, hence, I cannot answer you here. However, in order to change the setup for Free Shipping, you need to go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping Zones > Free Shipping. Should there be any changes needed to be configured on the payment gateway being used, it would be best to reach out to the plugin’s developers for further assistance here.

    2) Will this have any consequences that maybe I should be aware of and might not think of? All that I can think of is that I will need to update text on our website where it says “Free shipping over 499 sek”.

    It would not hurt to check these parts of your site too:

    – Marketing > Coupons
    – Custom Codes
    – Third-party plugins which rely on free shipping
    – Reports

    If you are hesitant to make these changes on your live site, you could setup a staging site to implement these changes. You could use the plugin like WP Staging for this.
