Change size of slider

I can see the blocks under the slider just fine.

Have you tried viewing your site when you aren’t logged in as an admin? While you are logged in, you have the WordPress dashboard bar at the top which takes up some of the browser window. You need to log out to see what your site looks like to your regular viewers.

Thank you both! I have tried on two other laptops where I was not signed in – pic is way too big.

Imon, when uploading the pic for the slider, no matter what size I choose, it stretches the picture to the largest size. If I change the max width in the style sheet, the title and description are cut off.

Sorry, I meant when I change the max height in the style sheet.

The difference also seems to be that there are frames on either side of the web page here

I was able to change the height and width of the slider in the syle sheet but the slider is not centered over the blocks.

I’m trying to figure this one out for you but even after changing the CSS back to it’s original state It looks identical to the Isis Demo. I checked it in three different browsers to see if that was an issue but it looked good in all of them (firefox, explorer, and chrome)… are you using a different browser then those?

Have you changed any other CSS code? I noticed other differences like the navigation bar not stretching the width of the site. I’m wondering if any other changes you made are now giving you problems in these other areas.

you no need to edit core style.css .

if decrease the slider image height . then the slider height also decrease.

but do not change the width
