Change slider functions in Compass Theme

Hello,

I building a new site for a client and I am wondering if I can change the built in slider function. The theme I am using is the Compass Theme by InkThemes. She wants the slider to “slide” as appose to “split” or “fade”. I contacted the developers but they have not said much and there are no options like other sliders. Is there anything I can do with the CSS to this to make it “slide”.
