• Hi,

I installed this plugin to solve some problems that i had with the breadcrumbs, but there’s one that i think the plugin can help me but i don’t know how.

I’ve created some pages, “mysite.com/myths” for example, that shows some articles from the category “myths”. When i click on the breadcrumbs it takes me to “mysite.com/category/myths” instead of “mysite.com/myths”.

Do you know how can i change this, or i need another plugin to redirect automaticaly to other page?

    Thanks

Well, typically, you should not manually create pages for categories. If you want a page hierarchy, then create a page hierarchy; if you want to use categories and posts, use categories (and their archives) and posts.

If you want to mix-n-match things, you will need a plugin to help setup relationships between the posts and the category page. One such plugin is: https://github.com/mtekk/Post-Parents note that you will need to set the post hierarchy to ‘post parent’ in the Breadcrumb NavXT settings page if you use this plugin. You will also have to set the category page for every post.

    Thanks for your help.
I’ve created some category pages because they are different from each other, maybe it’s not the right way to do it, but it was the solution that i’ve found at the moment. I only started to use wordpress 2 months ago.
