• Hi

On my site https://yoke.dk/newsite/ I have a problem with aligning the textblocks and the pictures.

As you can see there’s a different spacing between the texts, the white lines and the pictures.

In the WordPress editor I’ve put everything in order so all the spacings are the same. But can I change this in the stylesheet?

    Thanks!

  • Its very unclear from your description what the problem you are perceiving on your live site is.

Its good to keep this in mind – things will rarely look in the editor as they do on your live site, because the editor is not aware of your stylesheet. The function of the editor is to enter the content with the HTML tags you want in the live HTML. The stylesheet is used to position and style that HTML, which is not part of the editor’s function. If you have added spacing, blank lines, etc. in the editor to make it look right there, this is quite likely causing the gaps in your live site. If so, remove it and see what the live sites looks like. Then adjust the stylesheet to get the appearance you want on your pages.

    Hi stvwlf

Thanks for your reply. I’ll give it a go as you describe ??

One problem though. On every page there’s a blank space between the white line under the menu and the first header. It’s ca. 1 cm wide this gap.

How do I get rid of that?

the link you posted before https://yoke.dk/newsite/ doesn’t work. if you post a link to the page that has this problem I’ll take a look
