• Hi,

I every blogpost I make there are the same things:
    Custom fields, images etc
How can I edit the blogpost template and save it so I don’t have do these things everytime I make a new post?

  • Hi,

You can try using this plugin.
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/duplicate-post/

Duplicate a post and make only the changes that you need.

    Thank you

Hi triep. Not sure what you mean here:

every blogpost I make there are the same things

Are you saying every post has the same information and you want it to pull the data from the database instead of entering it manually on the post?

    Yes, i mean:

    – same custom fields
    – same Facebook like button/
    – same setup for the text
    – etc

Instead of a plugin i was wondering if i could change the php.
But I the plugin does the same that’s fine with me!

I think the plugin @denzel suggested would work after you get one post configured the way you want it. Then use the plugin options to make a clone of that post. Your other option is to modify the theme template single.php file which is used to display single posts.
