Change student name on course completion certificate

Hello all,

I’m dealing with CoursePress1, and I have a student that needs to change the name displayed on the course certificate after course completion.

The student originally purchased the course using different payment information and set the account up using a different First Name. The student has requested a different name to be displayed on the certificate.

I’ve updated the account information to match the new name, but the certificate itself still has the old name on it.

I’ve went through and verified that all of the student data within the course and user data within the site is correct. I see that the certificates are stored in a cache folder within the CoursePress plugin’s directory, but deleting the file and retrying to view the certificate just puts the same file back in the cache folder.

I’ve been looking through the database, but it’s not easy to go through all of the course data and find where the old name is being stored.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? It seems like it should be an easy task, but from my experience, CoursePress never makes things easy.
