    Hi,

We send coupons using the user’s email (user email) during login, so the “Allowed Email” is filled with the user email. This results in the coupon not being applicable on the cart page when the customer’s billing email differs from the user email.

After reviewing the document, I found that the “Allowed Email” validation for the coupon is based on the Billing Email.

Since the customer’s billing email might change, could you please advise if it’s possible to switch to user email validation, or how we should handle this situation?

    Hello Sophie,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

As you said, the “Allowed Emails” field is verified against the customer’s billing email.
This is the default WooCommerce functionality.

If you wish to verify the “Allowed Emails” field against the user’s registered email address, you will need to use a custom code solution.

As per our forum guidelines, I cannot assist you with custom-coded solutions.
I recommend you consult a professional web developer.
You can find one at WooExperts or Codeable.

    I hope this helps. ??

    Best regards.
