change the banner in the header

r u guys talkin about the blue header in default theme whch has “just another wordpress blog” written in it? i want to replace it too with an image, but i dont see any “uploads” folder in my wp-contents directory…

Create a banner called JV3.png
upload it to
/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/JV3.png
overwriting the old banner
that is all you need to do
