Change the blog adress from index.php

Sorry, I’ve posted this before but i don’t think I made my problem very clear so I’m posting it again, with what is hopefully a better explanation of my problem.
I need to change the blog adress of my site to blogs.php, rather than index.php because they are 2 different pages, one showing blogs and the other showing just news.
I tried changing the Blog address (URI) in the options panel to mysite/blogs.php but then all the pages link to mysite/blogs,php/index.php (it treats blogs.php as a folder rather than a page).
I’ll show you an example…
https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php
when you click to view comments on there it takes you to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/index.php?p=9#comments
I want it to take you to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php?p=9#comments
but if I set the blog adress to https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php
it takes you to
https://www.slickvision.co.uk/blogs.php/index.php
Does anyone know how I can achieve this?
